We were inspired by Aunty S to start a  permaculture garden, so our chooks got put to work in the second half of 2013! 

 

The kids got a garden bed to tend too, this was before, it is now filled with pumpkin and watermelon and tomatoes!!

The movable chook house creates garden beds, and we now have healthy organic vegies and chicken food growing!

The kids were excited about the first eggs we found!! The chickens were free range at the time and we found 11 eggs suddenly!!
